Live Again
Here I sit alone in silent solitude
Wanting one more day to hear your voice again
Leafing through these pages of pure reminisce
Im stirred by your sweet sentience
Time goes on without regard
And with every hurt we must learn to heal within
I heard you say, “Time’s precious dear…”
Then with your wings,…
You left me here
What else can I say
What more can I do
In this fleeting veil…
We learn to live again
Here I am a soul, Im broken by life’s oddessy
Seeing you away to cross life’s secret rubicon
The hardest part is letting go
Cause later is something we’ll never know
Goodness knows I’ve tried
to turn off of this road
To find a peace without false faith
And a road that leads to you
What else can I say
What more can I do
In this fleeting veil…
We learn to live again
