Neuralgia
Looking through a veil of shattered glass
Judging from its pieces
Closing off the world I sought to know
Afraid of depths in hell I thought I’d burn
Selling love, but chasing darkened minds
Enslaved in thoughts, with free narcissistic wiles
Hints of fear, engrained in broken souls
In hopes to find the way to peace divine
Neuralgia, why do you hunt us in the guise of truth
Neuralgia, why do you blur us in a darkened hue
Neuralgia, why do you bind us in your mental chain
Neuralgia, Neuralgia
Staring through a veil of shattered glass
Watching those on “high” delude the under-sense
Severing flesh from bone, they drink the peoples soul
Dividing heart from heart, until the same is numb
Watching sleep befall the “woken” mind
I see them one by one, in mental suicide
Masking hate as love, in deep disguise
Sealed with a demons kiss, ever afraid to rise
Neuralgia, why do you hunt us in the guise of truth
Neuralgia, why do you blur us in a darkened hue
Neuralgia, why do you bind us in your mental chain
Neuralgia, Neuralgia
What is hope to those that know no peace?
Its a sable truth to those that sell them lies!
This shattered glass will always be a veil
Will it break by time or at the hands of you and I
Neuralgia, why do you hunt us in the guise of truth
Neuralgia, why do you blur us in a darkened hue
Neuralgia, why do you bind us in your mental chain
Neuralgia, Neuralgia
